Andaman and Nicobar islands can be located in the south - eastern side of mainland India in the Bay of Bengal.

Lakshwadeep lies in the Arabian sea and has total area of 32 sq km. It consists of the Coral islands and Kavaratti is the capital. In most parts of Lakshadweep Island Malayalam is spoken. Lakshadweep consists of 11 islands


Andaman and Nicobar islands are located in Bay of Bengal and Port Blair is the capital and there the cellular jail is located.
In Andaman and Nicobar islands many languages are spoken like Nicobarese, Bengali, English, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. It consist of 570 islands.


Andaman & Nicobar Islands is a group of 572 Islands, islets and rocks. 36 of which are inhabited) in the Bay of Bengal, South-East of the Indian mainland.
Andaman group of Islands are open for tourism as majority of people living in Nicobar Islands are tribals.
