Answer:

SANDY SOIL=Sandy Soil is light, warm, dry and tend to be acidic and low in nutrients.Sandy soils are often known as lightsoils due to their high proportion ofsand and little clay (clay weighs more than sand). These soils have quick water drainage and are easy to work with.

LATERITE SOIL=Laterite is a soil and rock type rich in iron and aluminium and is commonly considered to have formed in hot and wet tropical areas. Nearly all lateritesare of rusty-red coloration, because of high iron oxide content. They develop by intensive and prolonged weathering of the underlying parent rock.

DESERT SOIL=Desert soil is mostly sandy soil (90–95%) found in low-rainfall regions. It has a low content of nitrogen and organic matter with very high calcium carbonate and phosphate, thus making it infertile. The amount of calcium is 10 times higher in the lower layer than in the topsoil.

BLACK COTTON SOIL=Black cotton soils is known as Regur are generally clayey type.Black cotton soil is one of majorsoil deposits of India and Pakistan. They exhibit heigh rate of swelling and shrinkage when exposed to changes in moisture content and hence have been found to be most troublesome from engineering consideration.

ALLUVIAL SOIL=Alluvium is loose, unconsolidated soil or sediment that has been eroded, reshaped by water in some form, and redeposited in a non-marine setting. Alluvium is typically made up of a variety of materials, including fine particles of silt and clay and larger particles of sand and gravel.
