I don't think students should be judged on the number of marks they score because exams are something which test you on how much you have learnt earlier and you score accordingly. Marks are something which you get depending on your remembrance. So,according to me students should be judged on their IQ skills and practical knowledge which test them as a whole.
Here is ur answer.. Mark as brainliest if it helped you..

Not to offend, but today's educational system had became useless. It gradually came to became just a memory testing system.
Marks secured 'not always' can't measure a child's true potential. It needs to be a fine and long process of finding our true potential and working on it, making it something for ourselves.
Today, very often, society and most of the parents judge children based on the academic marks they secure, they expect more, thereby putting a lot of pressure on the child.
This creates nothing more than mental pressure to the child. If a child have enough interest in academics, they would go for it. But, many children, are now facing peer pressure because 'they can't have time on what they found interesting and what they found their true potential'. This often spoils their personality.
So, Never judge a book by it's cover, and never judge a student by their marks.
