1. Degradable wastes are those that degrade or break down naturally while non-degradable wastes are those that are not degraded naturally.
2. Degradable waste can act as soil manure after it has broken down and added in the soil while non degradable cannot act as soil manure.
3. Degradable waste is mostly organic while non-degradable waste is synthetic material and non-organic.
4. Degradable waste is not pollutant while non-degradable waste acts as pollutant of environment.
5. Degradable waste includes fruits, vegetables, feces while non-degradable waste include plastic, shoppers etc.
