Smallest 3-digit number = 100

Number to be divisible by 69.

So,

69 )100( 1

69

31

So, we can see that 100 when divided by 69 gives quotient as 1 and remainder as 31.

So, (69 × 1) < the required number by 31.

Then, 69 × 2 = 138.

As we can see that 138 is greater than 100 by 38 which is closer to 31, so the required number is 138.

Hence, the required number is 138.
