TRIGNOMETERY
1 st Identity
Sin ( 90 - Q ) = Cos Q
PROVE =
As we know Sin Q = P/h
And in Figure
P = BC
and
H = AC
And Q = theta
So ,
Sin ( 90 - Q ) = BC/AC = Equation 1
AND COS Q
= BC/AC - Equation 2
From Equation 1 & 2
Sin ( 90 - Q ) = Cos Q
PROVED
2 = IDENTITY
Tan ( 90 - Q ) = Cot Q
PROVE
Tan ( 90 - Q ) = BC/AB - Equation 1
From Figure
Cot Q = BC/AB - Equation 2
From
Equation 1 and 2
Tan ( 90 - Q ) = Cot Q
PROVED
3 = IDENTITY
Cot ( 90 - Q ) = tan Q
PROVE
From figure
Cot ( 90 - Q ) = AB/BC - Equation 1
Tan Q = AB/BC - Equation 2
From equation 1 & 2
Cot ( 90 - Q ) = tan Q
PROVED
........
