write some important memorable fact about gravitation ?

VJsuvam420: Objects with mass are attracted to each other, this is known as gravity. Gravity keeps Earth and the other planets in our solar system in orbit around the Sun. It also keeps the Moon in orbit around Earth. Tides are caused by the rotation of the Earth and the gravitational effects of the Moon and Sun.

The Earth's gravity is far stronger than our own so we don't notice the gravity our bodies possess. Gravity is affected by the size and proximity of objects. The Earth and the moon have a stronger pull on each other than the Earth and, say . . . , Jupiter because the Earth and moon are closer to one another.

Gravitation Fact :-

• the value of G is independent of the nature size and mass of the interacting bodies.

• G is a universal constant. it value same everywhere in the universe.

• the value of g is different at different places on the surface of the earth its value varies from one celestial body to another.

• g is vector quantity while G is scalar quantity.

• when our body is thrown vertically upward then the value of g is negative.

• for freely falling bodies the value of g is positive.

• the mass of the body remains constant at all places.

• the weight of body varies from place to place it depend upon the value of g at that place.
