Spherical mirrors have a number of applications, some of which are as follows ___

\bold{concave\: mirror} :-

✨Concave mirrors are used as reflectors, in torches, headlight of vehicles.

✨Concave mirrors are used as "objective" in reflecting telescopes.

✨ A concave mirror with a hole at the center is used by EN'T specialists to examine ears, nose and throat.

✨A small concave mirror with a hole is fitted in opthalmoscope used for examining eyes.

✨ Concave mirrors are preferred to plane mirrors for cleaning shave and make-up purposes since they produce magnified, erect and virtual image when object (face of a person) lies in between the pole (P) and the principal focus (F) .

\bold{convex\: mirror} :-

✨These are used for view of the traffic coming from behind the vehicle.

\bold{parabolic\:mirror} :-It is used in search light.

Some Applications of Spherical mirrors

_________________________________________

=> A concave mirror is used as shaving or make-up mirror because it forms a magnified and erect image of the face when it is held closer to the face.

=> Doctors use concave mirrors as head mirrors.

The mirror is strapped to the doctor's forehead and light from a lamp after reflection from the mirror is focused into the throat or ear of the patient.

=> A convex mirror is used as rear view mirror in automobiles. The reason is that it always forms a small and erect image and it has a larger field of view than that of a plane mirror of the same size.

Hope it helps you Out▶▶▶
