some salient features of hybridisation are -
1: it is the mixing or overlapping of 2 or more orbitals having almost equal energy ...
2: the resulting orbital is also a degenerate orbital
3: the mixing is either head-on (sigma bond) or sideways (pi bond)

hope this helps

The answer of ur question is

The Valence atomic orbitals of Central atom undergoes hybridisation .
The no. of hybrid orbitals formed equal no. of atomic orbitals mixed .
Half - filled, full filled and vacant atomic orbitals can undergo hybridisation .
The hybrid orbitals are identical in shape and size and energetically equal.
The hybrid orbitals may contain electrons and so exert repulsion on one another.
To minimise the repulsion hybrid orbitals orient themselves far apart from one another. It gives the geometry of a molecule.
The hybrid orbitals formed undergoes overlapping with pure atomic orbitals of the surrounding atoms to form chemical bond

hope it satisfy
