We have,

sets A and B

Find:

We are asked to find the Disjoint sets.

Solution:

We have,

Let,

A = {9, 8, 7, 6}

And,

B = {1, 2, 3, 4}

Now,

Find the sets of (A - B),

i.e.

A - B = {9, 8, 7, 6} - {1, 2, 3, 4}

We get,

A - B =  {9, 8, 7, 6}

Now,

Find the sets of (B - A),

i.e.

B - A = {1, 2, 3, 4} - {9, 8, 7, 6}

We get,

B - A = {1, 2, 3, 4}

So,

A and B are disjoint sets.

Hence, the sets A and B are disjoint sets.
