Sol. Let the smaller number be x ,
And, greater number be x+12 . Then,
According to question
x+(x+12) = 10
x+x+12. = 10
2x. = 10-12
x. = -2/2
x. = -1

: Smaller number = x
= -1
Greater number = x +12
= -1+12
= 11
