CV raman was born on 7 November 1888 he was an physicist he studied light scattering he won the Nobel prize in physics in 1930for his work in this subject this phenomenon is now called raman scattering and the result of the raman effect he is the first indian to won the Nobel prize and he won the gold medals in English and physics
