according to Pythagoras theorem the square of hypotenuse is equal to the sum of square of perpendicular and base .

according to pythagoras theorem (h)^2 =(b)^2 + (h)^2

(10)^2 = (8)^2 + (6)^2
100= 64 + 36
100 = 100
LHS = RHS

hence, proved
