To edit the existing data records in the data source file, follow these steps: 1. Open the data source file and then select Use an exiting list option from the Select Recipients dialog box displayed in step 3 of the Mail Merger Wizard. The toolbar will appear on the screen.

The steps to edit an existing data source are as follows:
1. In the SELECT RECIPIENTS section, select the option USE THE EXISTING LIST.
2. There are two option available there —-> SELECT A DIFFERENT LIST.
—-> EDIT RECIPIENTS LIST.
3. Select the option of EDIT RECIPIENTS LIST. The list you created opens on the screen. If you want to use new list select the of SELECT A DIFFERENT LIST.
4. In the lower left corner click the name of the Data Source.
5. The EDIT option will enable. Click EDIT to make changes in the list.
6. Once you are done, click OK to make the changes permanent in the list. The list is save with all changes incorporated in it.
