Here are the steps to insert a table in PowerPoint
Open a new file using PowerPoint.
Change the layout of a slide.
To do so:
Click on Layout option available under Slides group in the Home tab.
Click on Title and Content option from the dropdown list.
Insert the table in the slide by clicking the ___ icon available within the layout. A dialog box appears.
Now enter the values for the number of columns and rows that you want in the table.
Once the table is inserted into the slide, additional tabs - Design and Layout - are made available which we can use for editing and formatting the table further.
