I met Superman

Yesterday morning I was getting ready for my school and as soon as I picked up my school bag, someone knocked on the door. My parents were not at home, then who would it be?

Opening the door, I was put into a shocking surprise to see Mr. Superman in his read superhero dress. He was flying at that time and he smiled beautifully towards me and waved a "Hi". I could just stutter another "Hi" back.

However after a few words, we became good buddies and I started discussing the things which I want to improve. In many of his suggestions, he mentioned important lines, like "any dream is big enough if you can achieve it greatly".

We were sitting round the table and we talked for hours. In a sudden the doorbell rang. When I turned back to Superman, he was not there. He left a note for me - "you are a good boy and be unique with the good in you" and those words will be with me forever.

I opened the door and I could see my father Clark Kent back home from office. He was looking exhausted, like a crow into the storms.

I have always worn my children’s birthstones around my neck. One morning, when I was late for work, my infant son Larry’s topaz birthstone fell from my gold chain. I frantically searched for it, whispering to myself, “I lost my Larry, but I will get him back.”

That day, Larry’s cardiologist called with test results from one of his first checkups. He would need emergency heart surgery. Happily, the operation was a success, and I whispered in Larry’s ear, “I thought I lost you, but I knew I’d get you back.”
