My one and only hobby in my life is music- building up a career in music. I should not say, but I sing well than any other student in our school. One day, I was murmuring a song, when a teacher heard it. I was murmuring it while writing some work, so I didn't notice. Suddenly, that teacher came to me and asked me, "You sing very well. Is your hobby singing?". "Yes ma'am" I said. She then went in some other class, and came back with our music teacher. She asked me to sing and liked my singing. She asked me to participate in the upcoming inter-school music competition. I was a bit nervous, for I had never participated in any music competition. However, avoiding nervousness and thinking about future, I approved. I practiced very efficiently. I was very scared. I was too much afraid of going on stage. As it was an inter-school competition, many people would be watching it. Handful of negative thoughts came to mind. What if I forget one line? What if I forget the whole song by seeing the audience? What if my voice cracks in the middle? However, I kept on practicing.

At last, the day came. I was very nervous. I saw many participants from various schools. They sang pretty well. When it was my turn, I went on stage. I saw the audience, and stayed quiet. Suddenly, the whole audience started clapping to encourage me. I started to sing, and to my good fortune, I did not forget anything, not a single line. And my voice did not crack. I finished the song, and the audience were so impressed by my voice that they started clapping, and it continued until the anchor announced the name of the next participant! I was very happy. I was no more scared, and now I wanted to participate in more music competitions like this.
