Answer:
Once upon a time, there lived a king and a queen. They had a beautiful daughter. Her name was Rebecca. The princess was very simple and loved to play with common children. The king and the queen didn’t like that the princess should mix up with common children. Therefore, they sent her to a school meant only for princes and princesses. She grew up sweetly and became a good dancer. When she was sixteen, her parents brought her back. One fine day, she felt very lonely in the big palace. So, she went to a park and started dancing there. All of a sudden she heard the sound of the tambourine. She turned around with surprise and saw a handsome gypsy. She was charmed and began to dance again with the gypsy. “I want to be a gypsy too,” said the princess. She wanted to roam about and dance to music. Then they both went away. The king and the queen offered a big reward to anyone who could find the princess but in vain. One day, the king and the queen were giving a grand ball. The best musicians and dancers were invited from all over the world. The gypsy and the princess hastened to the palace for a special gypsy dance. While dancing, there fell before the king and the queen a little locket. It was of her own lost daughter. The queen recognised her own daughter. Rebecca was forgiven. The princess and the gipsy were married. When the old king and the queen died the princess and the gipsy ruled over the kingdom for a very long time.
