The rabbit and a tortoise

This proverb can be best explained with the example of the story of the rabbit and the tortoise. Once upon a time, a rabbit and a tortoise decided to compete for a race. The rabbit laughed at the tortoise for even thinking about competing with him and therefore he was confident that he will win. They started the race and the rabbit started running. After a few miles, he turned back and saw that the tortoise was completely out of sight. He thought that the tortoise can never win the race and since it was out of his sight, he decided to take a nap. While he was sleeping the tortoise surpassed him and won the race.

Because of the ability of running fast, the rabbit was obviously going to win. But the tortoise very well knew the importance of the phrase “better late than never” and thus it started competing slowly, but steadily and thus won the race. It is also important to note that if an individual starts doing a work, today or tomorrow he or she is bound to finish the work and succeed.

Thinking that it is impossible to complete a work will result in the work being never completed because it was not even started at the first place. It is human nature that when one notices that a work is difficult he or she simply decides to quit, what is important here is to understand the fact that quitting should never even be considered as an option.

Slow and steady can also win the race. All the students are of different nature, if a student decides that he or she will study throughout the year, that individual will stand first or second in the class. There are also students who study a night before the exam. These students also get promoted to the next class. But can a student who does not study at all or who studies after the exam is promoted to the next class. The answer is No. it is better to study late, at the last moment also that to escape studying

the main thing about writing a story is that it should have a title and paragraphs

Better late than never

Boom!!!"What was that?" whispered Ellie in a low and shaky voice. She nervously crept across the dark and quiet hall. "Hello!!!" she yelled as she paced to the living room. "Is anyone there?" she mumbled. "Whoa!!!" she screamed in horror as she was being sucked by a black and purple swirl looking thing. Her dark chocolate hair in a mess and her amber eyes squinted because of how fast she was going. "Where am I?" she quietly said to herself.

"You are in the year 3000 and the only way you could get out is by getting the queen's crown back and if you don't find it in an hour you would be stuck here forever," a mysterious, deep voice commanded.

"Oh No!!!" Ellie cried out so loudly her voice echoed through the whole street. "You better start now otherwise you would be stuck here forever," the same weird voice explained.Ellie started asking for directions to the Queen's Royal Palace to ask the queen herself who took the crown. "There it is," Ellie exclaimed relieved that she found the palace after searching for half an hour, but she had to be quick because she only had half an hour left. She entered the huge, shiny, golden palace and asked the queen if she could tell her who stole the crown. The queen's long jet black hair brought out her emerald green eyes which were small and shaped like almonds. The queen gave Ellie directions to the thiefs shack.

She entered a small, old, rusty shack and there it was the only thing shining, the queen's crown. It was on a high shelf.

"What do you think you're doing?" said a wrinkly witch with grey hair and sky blue eyes.

"What do you think you're doing?" said a wrinkly witch with grey hair and sky blue eyes."Nothing," Ellie mumbled extremely nervous with her hand covering her mouth. The witch tried snatching the crown off Ellie but she was too old, she tried making a spell but it would not work on Ellie because she was not from the year 3000. She only had ten minutes left to give the queen her crown and go back to the portal otherwise she would be stuck here forever. She quickly ambled to the Royal Palace and gave the queen her crown. She then quickly trampled to the portal and was a minute late but was still allowed to go back to 2015
