In this story , the narrator came to a chateau in Picardy to spend some hunting season with his friends and at the arrival of him he was given a princely reception and his friends fired off rifles so he was very suspicious about it and checked every portion of his room and after checking everything he was so tired that he pulled up his mattress and bed sheet to the ground and slept peacefully .At morning he was awakened by the falling of a body over him and it was the person who had brought the morning cup of tea and the burning liquid had fallen to his chest so it made him a howl of pain.
