Cutting the vas deferens in the human male and then tieing the knot in it to avoid the release of sperms further.
This surgery is known as tubectomy.
Similarly it is done with the fallopian tube of the females to avoid the implantation of the fertilized egg that has become zygote . This is known as vasectomy.

Vasectomy and Tubectomy.

They are irreversible Contraceptive Methods.

In Vasectomy, a small incision is made through the Scrotum and a small part of Vas deference is cut and tied to avoid sperm transfer.

In Tubectomy, a small incision is made through abdomen or vagina and a small part of Fallopian tube is cut and tied to avoid egg transfer.
