a12=?.

First term=a=25.

Common Difference=d=a2-a1=-5-25=-30. (Because -×-=+ & largest number is important).

an=a+(n-1)d.

a12=25+(12-1)(-30).

=25+(11)(-30).

=25+(-330).

=25-330. (Because +×-=-).

=-305. (Because +×-=- & largest number is important).
