Write the 14 as a rational number

Answer

The number 14 is itself written as rational number .

Lets go back to our definition of rational number that is : A rational number is a number that can be written as p/q form , where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0 .

Okay ! So our condition is q should not be equal to 0 . So can p be 0 ?. Well !we will come to that later ,first focus here . We had to write it in p/q form .

The p/ q form of 14 can be 14/1 . Yes absolutely !

In such questions u don't have to do anything just to write it as 14/1 . That's all !

So ,

14 and 14/1 us common .

Now , can p be written as 0 in p/q form and still be a rational number ?

The answer is yes .

This is how 0 is proved to be rational number .
