The two categories are permanent executive and political executive.
Political executive - political leaders nominated by people through election are called political executive.They are nominated for short term basis .They don't require any specific educational qualification.
Permanent executive - people who are recruited for a long term basis on the basis of their educational qualification through exams and interview are termed as permanent executive.
