Copper and aluminum doesn't directly react with air, they are reacted when they both are heated for a prolonged time.
i.e 2Cu+O2 ------> 2CuO(Copper oxide).
& 4Al +3O2--------> 2Al2O3(Aluminum oxide).
i.e 2Cu+O2 ------> 2CuO(Copper oxide).
& 4Al +3O2--------> 2Al2O3(Aluminum oxide).
