Aim - To show that the heat transfers from hot to cold area through conduction.
Materials Required - Aluminium rod, iron nails, wax, Burner or Candle, stand And clamp.
Method - Take an aluminium rod and fix some iron nails with the help of wax. Fix the aluminium rod on the stand using clamp. Then burn a burner or a candle at the end of the aluminium rod.
Observation - You will observe that after sometime the wax started melting and the nails are falling which were fixed with the rod. This Happened because the heat transferred from the aluminium rod from one end to another and the wax started melting because of heat.
Conclusion - Thus, from this activity we get to know that heat transfer hot to cold area through conduction.
