Advantages -

GUI is user-friendly

GUI is very attractive and multi-colored.

It is much better than the command-driven interface

User can switch quickly between tasks on the GUI interface

In GUI user need not have to understand the working of the computer system

Disadvantages -

It becomes complex if the user needs to communicate with the computer directly

It is fully based applications require more RAM in order to run

GUI uses more processing power compared to other interface types

Hidden commands need to be searched using the Help file
