Advantages:-

• Since these infrared wireless technology is private with security ,no one can misuse or hack it .
• Without our permission no one can use it ,since only we know it's password.

Disadvantages:-

• We can use such type of wireless technology in a minimum distance, we can't use it if we are far away from the wifi router.
• This technology is not for free,so we need to pay money for it.

There are more advantages and disadvantages of this type of wireless technology, but I told just few of them.
