Answer:

solution:-

Given sequence is 2,5,8,11,..

Here t1=2,t2=5,t3=8,t4=11

t2=2+1×3=5

t3=2+2×3=8

t4=2+3×3=11

Clearly it is an AP with first term a=2 and common difference d=3

tn=a+(n−1)d

∴t5=2+4×3=14

Hence, the answer is 14.

Answer:

2,5,8,11

This sequence is in A.P. which has common difference = 3

where ,

First term, a = 2

common difference, d = 3

therefore,

algebraic expression or we can say general term of this sequence :-

= a+(n-1)d

= 2+(n-1)3

= 2+3n-3

= 3n-1. (n is the number of terms in the series)
