1) Latitudes and longitudes are measured in degree because they represent angular distances. Each degree is further divided into 60 minutes and each minutes into 60 seconds.

2) Latitude provides the location of a place north or south of the equator and is expressed by angular measurements ranging from 0 degree at the equator to 90 degree at the poles. Therefore, higher latitude receives less heat than lower latitude areas nearer the equator.

3) Our solar system consists of our star, the sun , and it's orbiting planets, along with numerous moons, asteroids, comet material, rocks and dust. our sun is just one star among the hundreds of billions of stars in our milky way galaxy.

4) It's common for the collide with one of these particles or many at the same time. As they fall thorough the atmosphere, they quickly burs up and turns into meteors, or shooting stars. If the particles is large enough to survive it's trip through the ground, it becomes a meteorite.
