the reactions are ::-

1) sodium reacts with nitrogen

Na(s) + N(g) ==> Na3N. (Sodium Nitride)

The equation is unbalanced yet,

if we multiply 3 to Na then reaction is balanced

3Na(g) + N(g) ==> Na3N

Now the equation is balanced !

2) Aluminium reacts with dilute hydrochloric acid

Al(s) + Dil.HCl(l) ==> AlCl3 (aq) + H2

If we multiply proper coefficient then the Balanced equation becomes ::-

2Al(s) + 6HCl(aq) ==> 2AlCl3(aq) + 3H2(g)
