The required balance reaction of the following is given as:

Cu (s) + 2 H2SO4 (aq) → CuSO4 (aq) + SO2 (g) + 2 H20 (l)

- Upon the reaction of Sulphuric Acid (H2SO4) with Copper (Cu), hydrogen (H) is displaced by copper from sulphuric acid and forms Copper Sulphate (CuSO4) solution.

- Apart from this, Sulphur dioxide (SO2) gas and water (H2O) are also formed in this reaction as by products.
