When ammonia is burnt in air , the products formed are water and nitrogen monoxide.
NH4 + O2 = H2O + NO

Couldn’t find arrow , so I used = in the place of arrow .

Answer and Explanation:

\blacksquare Chemical equations are balanced to make law of conservation of mass true

That is,

Total mass on LHS = Total mass of RHS

Atoms of an element should be equal in LHS and RHS

\blacksquare Ammonia when burnt in air produces nitric oxide and water vapour

\blacksquare Ammonia when it is burning in air is actually reacting with the oxygen present in air

\blacksquare The balanced chemical equation is given by :

\huge \text {\boxed{4NH_3 + 5O_2 \longrightarrow 4NO + 6H_2O}}
