Hi.

Here is your answer-----

The Major difference Between Longitudinal and Transverse waves is that longitudinal waves moves in the direction of propagation of medium whereas transverse waves moves perpendicular to the direction of motion of the waves.

More difference are given below---

_________________________

Longitudinal Waves--- The waves in which the direction of propagation is in the direction of vibrations of the wave.

The longitudinal Waves can travel through Solids, liquids and Gases.

Examples---Sound Waves are the Longitudinal Waves.

Transverse Waves---The waves in which the Direction of the propagation of medium is perpendicular to the direction of vibrations of motion.

The Transverse Waves can Travel only in Solids and in the surface of the Liquids.

Examples---Light Waves are the Transverse waves.
