INTRODUCTION:-

• Alexander Parkes was born on 29 December, 1813 In Birmingham, England.

✴ He was the famous British chemist and he had developed various industrial materials.

• He was the first person to introduce small amount of phosphorus into metal alloy to
enhance its strength.

⏩When he was 8 years old his father made him
brass locks.

⭐HIS INVENTIONS:-

• He had invented the most important contributions was the invention of cold vulcanization in 1841.

✴ Alexander Parks was the first man to create the first man made plastic.
That plastic is known as Parkesine. After few years it was know as " celluloid ".

⏩ He had invent the most of his inventions from extracting the silver from lead.

⭐He was MARRIED BY

in 29 December, 1913.⭐

⚫ He worked for ELKINGTON and CO, he worked as the in charge of casting departments.
