Nicola was the elder brother. He was 13 years old.He was wearing a worn jursey and cut off khaki pants.Jacopo the younger one, barely came up to the door handle of the car, was nearly 12. He was wearing a shortened army tunic gathered in loose folds about his skinny frame.
At such a young age, they had shouldered the responsibilities of lookinf after their sister after loosing their father in a war . They did very menial jobs to pay the medical expenses for their sister undergoing medical treatment.
They were very courageous. They were very honest and self reliant. They are quite sacrificing . They give a ray of hope to the society.
