Creation of a mechanical barrier so that sperm does not reach the egg.

Coverings worn on the vagina.

CHanging the hormonal balance of the body so that eggs are not released and fertilisation cannot occur.These drugs commonly need to be taken orally as pills.They can cause side effects too.

Contraceptive devices such as Copper-T or Loop are placed in the uterus to prevent pregnancy.They can cause side effects.

If fallopian tube in the female is blocked,the egg will not be able to reach the uterus.Surgical methods can be used to create such blocks.

in this method ,a mechanical device is used to prevent the entry of dperms in the female genitacal tract during sexual intercource

(2) CHEMICAL METHOD

it involves the use of specific drugs by female

(3)SURGUCAL METHOD

surgical removal of vas deferens on males and the fallopian tube in females

there by preventing passage of male and female gamets through the corresponding gental tract
