Robert Frost has carved his pain of loneliness through the poem “Belleau Wood”.

The snow may seem to be romantic to others but for him, it seems nothing but the sign of numbness.

Likewise he also feels being abandoned and his pains make him numb.

He realises winter season is just like his own life and the snow of depression has covered up his entire entity.
