Hi dearhere is your answer:-The poem ' Our Casuarina Tree' by Toru Dutt is
by tree of her garden. It calls up old memories
and makes the poetess sad. A sadness rises
from the tree too. But she likes the tree very
much. Clusters of deep red flowers on the creepers
attract her eyes. Sweet and melodious song of koel
touches her heart. She reminds the good old days
days when she played under it with her friends.
She feels lamentions will reach some other
country too. Thus the tree is the source of the
joy and sorrow by old memories.
