Answer:

Fire and Ice is a poem conveying highly philosophical thoughts in a simple way through which any common literate man can understand it. In this poem, the poet depicts the most dangerous emotions of human,  desire and hatred as fire and ice which has a high capability of destruction that can even result to the destruction of the whole world. The poet makes us think about the consequences that may happen desire or hatred may be spread. Desire is the main reason for countries to expand their territory and these expansions may lead to wars that can cause severe destruction. Hatred can also lead to the same kind of destruction. The poet also shows reference to the consequences of global warming. This poem has various interlevel of meanings which makes me the poem Fire and Ice by Robert Frost of my favourites.
