Bassanio is present in drama merchant of Venice as a example of a true friendship and true love .
on one side where a close and unbreakable bond between antonIowa and Bassani can clearly seen the example of their friendship is that when Bassano heard the difficulty of Antonio he instantly without thinking anything came to help him not carrying about his marriage too.

The Bassani is also present as a example of true love where he love Portia with lots of love and because of his effort only he succeed to show his love by winning casket system....

In the play 'The Merchant of Venice' by William Shakespeare, the character Bassanio is Antonio's friend.

Bassanio offers his own hand, head or heart in place of the pound of flesh that is due to Shylock to be cut from Antonio. 

He is a bit dithery about money and tends to overspend.
