Evelyn Elizabeth Ann Glennie (born 1965) better known as Evelyn Glennie is an acclaimed percussionist from Aberdeen shire in Scotland. Since the age of 11, she has been totally deaf. She is supposed to have taught herself, how to register sounds using other parts of her body. She mostly plays barefoot at her concerts to 'feel' the music better.
