Answer:

Hey there!

Mr. Loisel was a man of extremely good deed. He always tried to make her greedy wife, Matilda, happy. He even brought an invitation to a great Ball for Matilda so that she can be happy. He was sacrificing. When Matilda demanded for a new dress, he gave her four hundred francs which he had been saving for himself. He was rational. He adviced Matilda to wear a garland of flowers around her neck if she didn't have jewellery. He knew that such materiallistic things only bring sorrow along with them. He was not greedy. He never lived for his greed but always worked for fulfilling Matilda's endless wishes. He was hard working. When Matilda lost the necklace she had borrowed from her friend, Mr. Loisel worked overtime in his office so as to repay the debt which they had to take to buy and new necklace and return to Madame Forestier, Matilda's friend. Instead of being angry at Matilda, her husband always suported her. Lastly, Matilda never understood that her husband was something more than jewels, money and luxuries.

Hope it helped!
