Otto Frank was the father of Anne Frank, who was the author of "The Diary of a Young Girl". Anne had a closer relationship with her father than that with her mother. He belonged to a well to do family, and was successful to establish himself as a businessman in Frankfurt. He married Edith Frank who was also from a well doing family. He was the last survivor from the family. He managed to find Anne's diary in the place where they were in hiding. He got it published and it became the widest read and published novel about the holocaust.
