Answer:

The prince of morocco was a suitor to portia. He is a warior and a self assured man. he has a large physical appearance.  He had a dark complexion.  He boasts out of his red blood and his personality, and is proud of his worth and fame among the maidens of his land. He represents himself as an eligible suitor to portia. he is self confident. he tells portia not to dislike him because of his dark complexion. he continues to boasts of his other conquests and enumerates his daring feats like taking away young sucking cubs from a mother bear and facing a lion.  The prince of morocco is an egoist he thinks that he is better than others.Later, he also admits that the caskets had no consideration or heroism. his pride and arrogance is totally repulsive to portia.

The prince, by his choice of golden casket proves that his judgement is merely based on outward appearances and he is carried away by the shine of gold and outward appearance unaware of the deep meanings of the caskets. he lacks the courage of risking everything for sake of love so he rejects the lead casket, his self centered attitude makes him reject the silver casket too. finally he chooses the dazzling gold casket. This proves that his choice is influenced by pride and not by love for portia. if it be such than he would have chose the lead casket.

By this morocco appears to be a self centered and a arrogant man who exaggerates his own worth and is not a match for portia..........

The prince of morocco is an egoist he thinks that he is better than others.  Later, he also admits that the caskets had no consideration or heroism. his pride and arrogance is totally repulsive to portia.

This demonstrates that his decision is motivated by pride rather than love for Portia. If that was the case, he would have chosen the lead coffin.

Morocco appears to be a self-centered and egotistical man who exaggerates his own worth and is unsuitable for Portia based on this......
