Convex Lens :
A convex lens forms both real and virtual images. The nature and size of the image formed depends on the distance of the object from the lens. A magnifying glass is actually a convex lens mounted on a lens holder.
Concave Lens :
A concave lens always forms an erect, virtual image of an object, placed anywhere in front of the lens. The image is formed on the same side as the object and its size is smaller than of the object.
Cancave Mirror :
This type of mirror form smaller as well as bigger images of an object.The size of an image formed depends on the distance of the object from mirror. If the object is placed close to the mirror, the image formed will be bigger in size.
Convex Mirror :
A convex mirror always form an erect, virtual image of an object placed anywhere in front of the mirror. The image is formed behind the mirror and its size is smaller than that of the object.
