When copper nail is dipped in copper sulphate solution then iron is more reactive than copper, so it displaces copper from copper sulphate solution.

When sodium react with oxygen
4Na+ O2 -------- 2Na2O.
When Aluminum react with HCl.
2Al+ 6HCl -------- 2AlCl3+ 3H2.
