(a) Hydrated copper sulphate- CuSO4 .5H2OAnhydrous copper sulphate- CuSO4
Activity :
(i) Take a few crystals of CuSO4 . 5H2O in a test tube and heat it.
(ii) Then add 2-3 drops of water on the sample of copper sulphate obtained after heating. After heating, water is removed and salt turns white. If crystals are moisten again with water, blue colour reappears. bio

a) hydrated copper sulphate ---> CuSO4 . 10H2O
Anyhydrous copper sulphate ------> CuSO4
Take some copper sulphate crystals , heat them we can see that they become colourless as they become anyhydrous copper sulphate . add some water to them and the colour comes back as they regain their water molecules. thus they are interconvertible.
b) plaster of paris ----> calcium sulphate hemihyrate --> CaSO4 . 1/2 H2O
gypsum ----> calcium sulphate dihyrate ---> CaSO4 . 2 H2O
