Many pollutants presents in different mediums. If human being is exposed to pollutant for a period of time the chances of get affected may increases to great extent. For instance Particulate Matter (PM 2.5 and PM 10) presents in air due to combustion of charcoal etc, resulted in chemical compound (sulfates and nitrates). These fine particles usually causes lung problems. Other pollutants i.e.

• NO2 emits from vehicle exhaust directly effect human health and also causes acid rain.  
• SO2 emits from coal power plants and from coal fired boilers. SO2 causes acid rain, eventually effects fresh water resources and plants growth.
• VOC's included chemicals like benzene and Butdaine which effects Ozone layer, eventually due global warming  human are effecting
