9 protons, or 9 electrons? With 9
electrons, the anions are isoelectronic
with fluorine. O2- has ¢ electrons, NA2-
has 9 electrons, and CA3- (if it existed)
would have 9 electrons.
If you actually mean ¢ protons, then
they would be anions of fluorine. But
there is only one FA-.
Two more would
have to be the essentially nonexistent
FA2- and FA3-, but these would be
unlikely since the electrons must occupy
higher energy sublevels, making for
unstable anions.
